Originally used as the treasury of the Knights of St. John, today the exclusive Casino Maltese retains most of its original 16th century features.On entrance there is a large hall which leads to a majestic staircase, branching off into two and leading onto a spacious landing which leads to 2 different halls.

The Castello Dei Baroni in Wardija was built in 1783 as a Baronial hunting lodge. Much of the original structure remains. The Castello has gained importance on the Maltese Islands as one of the exclusive locations for special occasions.

Grand Master Lascaris built St Agatha's Tower, popularly known as the Red Tower, in 1647. At the time of its construction, it was the furthest outpost from Valletta and served as a signal post for communication with Gozo. Its primary role was to guard both Mellieha and Ghajn Tuffieha Bays.

The Upper Barracca Gardens are situated near Castille Place. From these gardens you can enjoy unrivalled views(as seen in picture) across one of the world's largest and deepest natural harbours, Grand Harbour, and over to the Three Cities.

The Bighi Royal Naval Hospital, as it used to be known, is one of Malta's finest examples of neo-classical architecture from the early 19th century. The Bighi building previously housed a medical facility and now houses the Malta Centre for Restoration. 

Villa Bologna was built in 1745 by Fabrizio Grech as a dowry for the wedding of his daughter Maria Teresa to Nicolas Perdicomati Bologna, second Count della Catena. The old orange groves and fountains also date from this period.
