Museums and Heritage Sites
Malta's fertile and diverse history is well documented through the Island's wide array of museums and heritage sites. Often, the buildings that house these museums are worth visitng in their own right. The Museum of Fine Arts and The National Museum of Archeology are both fine examples of this. Malta also boasts some of the oldest Neolithic dwellings, such as Hagar Qim, Mnajdra and Ggantija temples. The latter have all been excellently preserved. |
