General Information

Winters are mild and it is not uncommon to experience bright sunshine and the occasional warm spell, even during the months of December and January.  Some people swim throughout the year.

Summers are hot, dry and very sunny, with temperatures ranging from 20 degrees up to 35 degrees (Celsius).

Annual rainfall is low, averaging 578mm a year.
